The dZi Bead

Modern dZi beads are also made from agate. And decorative designs are placed onto each dZi bead in a variety of designs. The number of 'eyes' (dots) on each dZi bead is significant. The eyes of the dZi bead are said to protect the wearer from 'the evil eye'.
